President
William C. Vitacco has spent decades working hand in hand with the largest developers, architects, and engineers in New York City and thus has compiled a vast portfolio of clientele. William has spearheaded the expansion of a firm consisting of a handful of consultants in the beginning to a thriving firm that employs countless dedicated professionals.
William attended the University of Colorado at Boulder from 1976-1979. He obtained a degree in Psychology, but at that time, his interests changed and William changed his career path to Building and Zoning Law. He joined his father's established Building and Zoning Law Consulting Firm in 1979.
In 1979, William joined his father and started handling the day-to-day City Agency permitting/signoff tasks. By 1981, William started running large development projects including the construction of the World Financial Center within Battery Park City at Vesey/Liberty Street. William became full owner and President on January 1, 1993.
He started adding key professionals to the Firm in the early 1980s, which allowed what is known today as William Vitacco Associates, Ltd (WVA). Throughout the time of the company's growth he at one point held each division's head position, giving him a complete understanding of the permitting process and industry. Between his own experience and the amazing team he built, William Vitacco Associates, Ltd grew into one of the leaders throughout the Construction Code/Zoning Law Consulting industry.
